"I'm dreaming of a white".....Spring?/ Mother Menopause

No, it's not Christmas. It just randomly decided to snow the other morning....after it had been 80 degrees the week before!! So much for my poor garden. Although the snow came and went quickly, the halt it put on my desired eden dampened my spirits.  And I thought the deer eating my flowers was my only worry! (Yes the deer ate my bird seed and beautiful, freshly planted, purple flowers...buds and all!)  So, alas, the gardening affair will have to be postponed until the Mother Nature decides to make up her mind....she has be going through menopause...

Day of Planting!

I had a couple hours of gardening last week! I got 9 things planted! I put up a gorgeous hummingbird feeder and some little garden ornaments too. I also finished painting my mini-bench red!  And I did it all in my Vibram shoes...It felt like I was barefoot! ...The best feeling in the world :)

When I was finished I came upon a big, brown, patch on the ground...that was ...moving? ...Thousands and thousands of ants!! I had to get a couple of photos of them. :)
